Tokyo Zoological Park Society Kasai Sea Life Park "Original stationery"

Tokyo Zoological Park Society Kasai Sea Life Park

The Kasai Aquarium is home to the world's first large doughnut-shaped tank displaying a school of tuna and one of the largest penguin exhibit spaces in Japan. We were asked to produce a series of "STUDY HOLIC" stationery based on the theme of learning, featuring some of the park's most famous (and minor) creatures. The design was inspired by an illustrated book, and was finished with the charms of the Kasai Aquarium.

Product Details

We wanted to express the interestingness of living things in stationery, so we added a little color to the design for the actually colorless water jellyfish.

The fins of the bluefin tuna are a particular point of interest for the Kasai Aquarium. They requested exquisite realism in the deformed illustration.

[Comment from the person in charge of Green Flash]

The clear material of the PVC pouch goes well with the sea creatures, and I think it enhances the series as a key item. I am proud of the exquisite balance of capturing the characteristics of each creature while at the same time having a certain cuteness that makes the product accessible to a wide range of customers.
